Lisa Sheinberg RN, BSN, MSN, brings over 30 years of clinical practice, executive leadership, and administrative experience to Sigma. She is a board-certified nurse executive and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Sigma Tactical Wellness.
Ms. Sheinberg has experience in a variety of clinical positions and has held certifications in critical care, emergency nursing, and legal nurse consulting. She has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a consultant for several electronic medical record (EMR) companies. As her career progressed, she entered executive leadership and most recently served as the Executive Vice-President of The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center and Arise Austin Medical Center. Under her leadership, both facilities had significant increases in operational efficiency, caseload, and revenue cycle management resulting in substantial growth and financial performance. Ms. Sheinberg also increased the quality of care provided at both facilities measured by exceeding benchmark standards set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service. She was instrumental in her facilities achieving accreditation by both The Joint Commission and DNV-GL which demonstrated that the hospitals were adherent to the highest of standards and care and demonstrated excellence in quality management.
Prior to this, Ms. Sheinberg also served as the Chief Nursing Officer of Ascension Seton Northwest Hospital and the Senior Director of Nursing for Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, a 500+ bed acute care tertiary referral medical center in Austin, Texas. This facility is the sole medical center in Central Texas that performs heart transplants and was one of the first two hospitals in the State of Texas to receive certification as a Primary Stroke Center. Under her tenure, Seton Medical Center earned the prestigious designation of Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Outside of her professional career, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, their six children, and two dogs. She loves to travel, paddleboard, and spend time in her RV. Lisa has made Texas her home after moving here from Ontario, Canada in the late 1990s.
