Cassie Witt

HeartStart Coordinator

Cassie is a 10-year law enforcement veteran from Minnesota with a background in health and fitness.

During her career, Cassie served as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, school resource officer, and community resource officer. While working as a police officer, Cassie spearheaded a new program at her department geared toward physical health for police officers, and her department was the first in Minnesota to screen officers through Sigma Tactical Wellness. Her wellness initiatives at the Rosemount Police Department have recently been featured in national media.

Cassie is passionate about promoting health and wellness for first responders, and firmly believes in protecting those who selflessly protect our communities.

Cassie is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she received a BA in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance as well as academic minor degrees in Communications and Spanish. After attending the University of Minnesota, Cassie obtained certificates in law enforcement from Metropolitan State University and personal training from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
